This wasn't my first time using Airbnb on my staycation but this definitely surpass my first experience. wanted an escape but at the same time I don't want to worry about my work tomorrow, hence a staycation. I booked a room (Andy's Place) in Birch Tower, Malate Manila two weeks ago. It costed me Php1426.57 and it was worth it.
When booking, I always choose a place with good ambiance and great view from the window. The room was in 44th floor and with a balcony overlooking Manila bay. My stress was taken away by the almost-sea breeze. Just look at that huge (kinda creepy) smile.

I immediately rested and watched TV. Yes, I paid 1400+ just to watch TV, bravo self! The place was fully furnished with complete kitchen and dining utensils, electric stove, toaster, heater, refrigerator, rice cooker, microwave, with exhaust. Also they provided the towel so it's easier for my baggage. I love their shower since it's easy to control plus it looked like rain since it's overhead. Gosh I'm so ignorante!

Another requirement for me is the pool and gym (gym? hah!) something I don't see daily. As usual I didn't get the chance to try there gym because but I got to try their pool. I loved the pool! Maybe because I came in late so I'm alone swimming while the guards are watching and waiting for me since it's near closing time (the pool closes at 7PM so sad). I was told that there's a sauna there but it was under construction.

The tower is located near Robinsons Place Manila and other night-life establishments. Perfect for first-timers in Manila and a great quick escape from the heavy traffic... just kidding, heavy traffic is everywhere in Manila. But if your location is just walking distance from the mall of bars that would be great, right?
Andy's place is on 44th floor with balcony and it's night view was it makes you just want to stare at it and not think anything (of course I'm kidding, my mind cannot be stopped).

I was still staying there but I already planned on going back. Maybe next time I'll try the gym.
